This international exhibition will publish more than 1,350 original, interconnected works by artists from more than 900 cities in 64 countries. This project is based on the children’s game Telephone, also known as Operator, Stille Poste, Teléfono Descompuesto, Telefon Shavur, Whispers, Ear-to-ear, 伝言ゲーム (でんごん ゲーム, Tichá Pošta, Głuchy Telefon, and countless other names. TELEPHONE explores the concepts of ekphrasis and intersemiotic translation. The interactive exhibition will allow visitors to explore hundreds of unique threads created by artists of every art form.
