Michael worked professionally as an aerospace engineer and retired in 2025. He grew up in Kansas City and graduated from the University of Kansas. Since then, he has lived and worked in North Texas, Southern California, Colorado, France, England, Arizona, and now Oregon. He moved to Lake Oswego in 2023 when he remarried. He is a lifelong Christian, with three adult children and two grandkids. When he's not painting, you can find him looking for vignettes to paint when hiking or cruising back roads in his classic blue convertible. This story comes from characters invented for the pleasure of his children. The characters were involved in a previous adventure in London, "Blue Boy and LuLou Rescue the Crown Jewels."
