From the age of twelve, Kerry Slattery knew she was destined to become an actress, and she was in fact a working actor for a long stretch of her adult life, eventually branching out into producing as well.

And in her 50s, she found a new life as a bookstore proprietor. As co-founder, co-owner and general manager of a unique Los Angeles bookstore, she shepherded Skylight Books to become one of the top bookstores in L.A., and known around the country.
