Über das Buch
I wrote this poem on a plane, while travelling away from my family and friends to make a toy called Lumo. People asked me to illustrate it, and so now I've made a cute little story about a bunny who works on a flying machine and makes friends with animals who could eat her if they wanted. It's a kind of anthropomorphic autobiographical anecdote.

Über den Autor
Meghan Athavale
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
I was born in a teeny town in Northern Manitoba, where I saw wolves on the way to school and climbed trees and stuff. Then I moved to the city, got a computer, and started working towards recreating the magical experiences I had as a kid (which a lot of kids today don't ever get, like being in a magical forest or building a treehouse or exploring a cave) using technology. Now I'm making a toy called Lumo (www.lumoplay.com) and I work in a treehouse in Winnipeg. In my spare time I draw lots of bunnies.
