Growing up is hard and doing it with the stress of a sibling with cancer makes it even harder. I know because I’ve spent most of my life as the sibling of a kid with cancer. In the Sibling Story Project, twelve siblings share their stories with teen and tween siblings of kids with cancer. I created The Sibling Story Project as my Girl Scout Gold Award project to allow siblings of kids with cancer an opportunity to share how they coped with their family situations, their celebrations, their questions and fears in a way that is relatable and personal to them.
