Azores archipelago is located 3000 km of the coast of Europe in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. It takes 2 hours long flight to get there from Portugal and 4 hours to fly from Northern America. This is a kind of the “forgotten land”. On these nine islands one will not find mass tourism as known from the other places. The Azores are about the untouched beauty, nature, peace and difficult to find these days tranquility. People are extremely friendly and helpful.

I have spent many mornings and evenings photographing São Miguel island coastline, and in this book I share my favorite locations, some of which would be extremely difficult to locate without assistance.
