A couple of years ago I had a short story published in a small anthology and a year or so later had another published in a collection of short stories in a magazine. I was delighted to see my stories in print but disconcerted to find , that in both collections, my story and perhaps one or two others were the only ones I understood. I searched in vain for humour or a story that drew me in and carried me along without providing too much of an intellectual challenge.

My stories are lighter fare; they are indeed a 'mixed dozen', some lighthearted, others delving a little deeper in the human experience and still others just 'good yarns' to help pass the time in waiting rooms and departure lounges.
