This book was inspired by my father, who read us bedtime stories for over 20 years. Every night, he would spend several hours trying to get me and my siblings ready to go to sleep. He came up with many bedtime routines, one of which was him saying this phrase as he walked out of our rooms: "Sweet dreams. Plenty of time. Close 'em." The comfort I find in this phrase stays with me even today. I hope this phrase can also bring comfort to others who have a difficult time getting ready for bed.
