THE CARETAKER'S WAKE is the debut feature film by Jesse Kreitzer. It's the tale of a grief-ridden social worker who cares for a dying woman in secrecy from his wife and two young boys. Set in rural Vermont and told over the course of four seasons, the film is a captivating vision of grief, guilt and acts of compassion in the wake of a death.
