New York Photographer Allison Rufrano is an accomplished artist whose thought provoking work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions internationally including in New York City, Italy, Russia, China, Korea and Japan. Her evocative use of light and the human figure enables Rufrano to tap into the viewers’ perception, creating a personal dialogue between her work and the observer. Ms. Rufrano holds a MFA in Photography and a MA in Art Education. She is immersed in the exploration of new media and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of innovative program curricula. Professor Rufrano lectures at many colleges and universities throughout Long Island, NY and organizes workshops both in Italy and on Long Island.
