120 is a roll film format for still photography introduced by Kodak in 1901. The film is attached to a piece of backing paper longer and slightly wider than the film. The backing paper protects the film while it is wound on the spool. Several years ago we fell in love with vintage medium format cameras using 120 film. We develop the black and white negatives by hand at home and send the color film out to a professional darkroom. The unpredictability of analog photography makes us cherish every frame. The resulting images have an ineffable quality evocative of classic mid-twentieth century photography. This is a collection of our favorite images.
