As Sage learned about the history of her ancestry, she discovers she comes from a powerful line of witches who were placed in charge of the nine sacred witch stones. The Gaunt witches were to protect the stones from the Dark Shadow Demons, who wanted to rule the witch world.

When Sage grows up, she sets off for New York to have a chance at a normal life.

While there, she meets Matthew Carson, the man of her dreams. They soon marry and have a daughter, Payton.

When her grandmother dies, Sage and her new family return to her childhood home. Soon after moving in, Sage is visited by the dark shadow demons, who are after the stones her grandmother had been protecting.

Will Sage be able to handle the secrets that come to light? Will she save her family? Or, will the darkness take over and end the Gaunt Witches forever?
