In April of 2009, photographer, Dennis Dorr, while driving home from a recent professional photographers convention, contemplated portraying ballerina's in a natural environment to create one-of-a-kind fine art images. Living in the exquisitely beautiful Flathead Valley near Glacier National Park, the Montana landscape became his set, studio, and stage for the dancers from Northwest Ballet Company and Dance Art Center, located in Kalispell, Montana. The project continues.
