John has traveled to thirty-six countries on all seven continents since living in Brazil for three years during the Peace Corps. His interest in wildlife took him to Alaska where he produced slide shows and videos for three national wildlife refuges while working as a teacher and administrator. Most recently he has ventured to the Brazilian Amazon, Antarctica, Southern Africa and Vietnam in a continual appreciation of our diminishing wilderness.
