Dave Foss is a New York–based fine art photographer whose work celebrates the power of serendipity — those rare, unplanned moments that can’t be staged or repeated. For more than fifty years, he has created images that balance humor, honesty, and vulnerability, often in locations that are anything but predictable. His photography blurs the line between documentary and fine art, capturing what happens in the instant before a moment disappears. Foss’s projects often pair images with the stories behind them, revealing how chance, trust, and timing shape his collaborations. His photographs have been exhibited from Brooklyn to the Pacific Northwest and published both in print and online.
