Über das Buch
The Good Fight is the first publication by Andrea Choate. The poems and short stories within this collection wind their way from urban alleyways to desert back roads, from childhood romps to middle-aged scowls, from curious enthusiasm to bitter reality. Each character, landscape and moment illuminates the wildly varying emotional degrees of life on the wrong side of the tracks.
"The first publication by Southern California native Andrea Choate covers an emotional landscape that will reverberate throughout the generation of youth born at the unsettled conclusion of Generation X. Eloquently tracing an often rocky path through the rapidly changing diversity and societal upheavals of the 1990s to present day, Ms. Choate's works ring true to anyone who has come out of an untraditional upbringing into what was sold to them as the brass ring in an ever-changing global community. While subject matter is based primarily on a regional level, the offerings in this poignant volume are easily transferrable to readers worldwide." Lisa Madsen

Über den Autor
Born and raised throughout Southern California, I played in the old orange groves as a youth, wandered the meandering freeways as a young adult and continue to explore the vast diversity this land has to offer. In my fictional writing too, I examine a variety of people, environments and experiences such a life has given birth to in my creative mind.
