The Photography Department of Santa Monica College is proud to present the selected images from the ‘Open Category’ from the 40th Annual Juried Student Exhibition. There were nearly 1200 images submitted for consideration, and 177 were accepted into the show by a jury of 14 photo faculty members. The prints were hung on the walls of the Pete and Susan Barrett Art Gallery at SMC’s Performing Arts Campus and also at the Photography Department Gallery in Drescher Hall. The Opening Reception was held on April 20, 2019.
