Born in 1964 in Milan, I began taking pictures at the age of 12 with my father's guidance. Together we explored an unusual form of photography - microscopic photographs of minerals, pictures that led to the publication of 2 books along with a mineralogist friend. I've since done a bit of every genre of photography, bar none. My professional work in the field of multimedia production, has kept me in constant contact with the world of photography, even though it didn't actually involve taking pictures. Now, 20 years later, I find the desire to take pictures overwhelming and in the meanwhile my understanding of imagery has changed, matured and evolved.
