Hello all, I am a South Australian artist in my 30's, practicing in many forms of media & expression. Poetry has been a love of mine for many years now. I have published 4 books to date & I have so many books in me yet! In art, honesty reigns. I find different mediums help to bring out different aspects of myself and the unconscious, it's an incredible thing, to be a creative being. I am forever grateful for this gift. Through abstract painting, I slip into a flow state and more often than not, don't quite know 'what' I am painting until I take a step back and analyse my own creation! Poetry, is not too dissimilar. Sometimes in writing, we can find truths that were yet to blossom to the surface that may surprise ourselves. In another form of expression, I have been modelling for about 12 years. This process, for me, is a very embodied one. Where movement meets emotion, to produce raw art. My books are full of poetry, images, honesty, grit & perpetual rising. ~ May
