This book is a collection of all my favorite photos I've taken through out this year, 2009. Most of my favorites in this book were taken on our road trip through California. We saw some amazing things which made great pictures, but some of these photos, I took around my front and back yard while I was bored. You don't have to travel far distances and see amazing things, to take great pictures. There is beauty all around us, we just have to look for it.

I have been taking pictures since my 6th grade year, 2006-2007. That's when I fell in love with photography. I had my own little digital camera. By the end of my 7th grade year my mom upgraded her camera and handed down her old one to me. I am still using that camera and it has worked great for me. At the beginning of my 8th grade year I took a photography class at my Jr. High, Oak Canyon. That fall my mom and I also took a class at UVU taught by Rex Allen. These classes are where I really starting learning about photography and improving my photos. I am now 15 years old and in the 9th grade. I hope to continue enjoying and learning about the art of photography and I can't wait to upgrade my camera!
