This photo series is a visual journey into the internal female experience, self-image and how societies imposed ideologies place a bias onto how one should ‘become a woman’. My naturalistic images will explore the rawness of the feminine identity through two separate segments; rawness and vulnerability, as well as; strength and empowerment. These are the two sides within being and becoming a woman which I wanted to explore within this book.
