The challenge, from a photographer's point of view, is to be able to capture the right tone and context without being overzealous in order to avoid making too bold a statement or erode the compelling authenticity of the subject.



This book is a compilation of pictures shot over a span of roughly two years in the most regular of locales in different neighborhoods. They form an integral part of what every New Yorker normally experiences even on the most mundane of days.
