Jaime Jesús Garratón was born on 1980, in Puerto Rico, where he resides and works. He graduated from Robinson School and attained a scholarship in art and sports from Roger Williams University, Rhode Island. Garratón earned his Bachelor of Communications in Visual Arts from the University of the Sacred Heart, Puerto Rico. He contributed in special art events for J. Walter Thompson and McCann Erickson advertising agencies. Since year 2010, he’s been assisting photographer-artist Héctor Méndez Caratini in his projects, books and exhibitions. As a plastic and digital artist, Jaime has been promoting positive visual reminders thru his art. Garratón has exhibited his work in museums and galleries in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
