I am an architect and writer, born in Canada and based in London for many years. Duxpress, set up in 1988, publishes my work under the pseudonym Fl&ubert Duck. There are over 60 titles which have been published since 1988. These include three novels, two genealogical histories of various interlinked families in Canada, Bermuda with their early roots in Britain. Duxpress also includes the Mara series novels, Peacocks at the Pale, The Prometheus Project and The Revenants. These explore a world of the near future and develop the constructive viewpoint of a young heroine who navigates a difficult and dysfunctional society. Duxpress includes two genealogical histories, Gam in Her Own Words and Then Some, the lifetime reminiscences of Anne Primrose Fyshe / Saegert/ Fairlie and Fairwood in the Making which recounts histories of the Fairlie and Shaw-Wood families.
