The photographs presented here show how the traditional fair and the trade fair have survived in the postmodern age. From the Gypsy horse fairs, still primarily about the buying and selling of livestock in the age of the car, to the trade shows, now also called consumer shows, selling the latest lifestyle products to those keen to see and touch the latest desirable object.
