The book was inspired by my childhood love for Clifford and my very own giant k-9, Bella. As a child, AJ was prescribed a service dog and AJ fell in love with Bella, a pure white Great Pyrenees. Through the years of owning Bella, AJ has learned a great deal. Having responsibility over a living thing brings a lesson on maturity. AJ hopes that children will take away many valuable lesson from this book, including: responsibility, kindness, and thankfulness of the gifts we already possess.
