Cycling Through Life is a short pictorial journey to celebrate Robert Main's 90th birthday. Bert, to his family, has spent most of his life cycling both in the UK and abroad. The book follows his childhood from Peebles, in the Scottish borders to his eventual home in the Lanarkshire town of Forth where he worked for 50 years in the coal mining industry. It contains images of him, his grandparents, parents, brothers, sister, wife, children, grandchildren and friends.
