Über das Buch
A fashion editorial presented in a large, landscape format. This book is a modern intrerpretation of the novel "Noli Me Tangere" by Dr. Jose P. Rizal - the Philippines' national hero. The said novel is an important literary piece that ignited the first Philippine revolution.
From the author's notes: "...First came the conceptualization. I wanted my Noli in a different way. I want it to be modern without moving too far from its original time zone. I wanted to use authentic pieces of clothing and alter them in such a way that it wouldn't look too old or too new, still look fashionable and yet very Filipino. I knew that this was going to be a very serious undertaking, so I reread the whole novel to refresh my memory and knowledge on the novel's content."
