This book is a celebration of my moms’ cooking recipes that she evolved over 50 years, and in the process grew into a master cook and baker that few could match.

Vanda took great pride in reviewing every recipe she could find through the local papers and magazines, looking for a basic recipe that she could innovate with subtle, and often times, not so subtle modifications. Over the years there was quite a collection of gold star creations that we always asked for, but continued to be presented with new and different meals as her confidence and creativity continued to grow.
