The present exhibition and publication 2 Photographers 1 Camera; Portraits by Maria Austria and Carla van de Puttelaar goes way beyond the simple combination of the work of the two artists in one show. It is a direct dialog, or perhaps even a confrontation, because of the fact that van de Puttelaar has not only reacted to the work of Austria with a new series of photographs, but has in fact used a Rolleiflex camera that Maria Austria had employed herself.
