This second collection of poems was written between 2011 and 2015, during a time of immense change and upheaval for the poet and his family. Moving from Bournemouth, this bustling and sprawling town that had been the poet's home from childhood, to Wimborne and then Beaminster; deep in the heart of rural Dorset. Inspired by the rolling hills, vast skies, patchwork fields and a new sense of tranquility that surrounded him, the poems have a distinctly different feel. The influence of the 18th Century Romantic poets can still be clearly seen but this new collection expresses the poet's voice differently; continuing further into his exploration of the wonderful art and craft of poetry.
