Must be meaningful to said person, engage others and satisfy the overwhelming urge to create stuff. So.... Rachel woke up one morning at 5am with a clear vision and a book in her head. After 6 months of edits, rewrites and crawling about in bushes with dolls and a camera “Sassy’s Rainbow Birthday” is finished. The first in an ongoing series of ‘Good Food Fables’ written for children, with the legacy of how we may be leaving the Earths food bowl for them in mind, has taken over Rachel’s life. Travelling the world as a child with her oil industry dad, she has always been surrounded by different cultures and their diverse fare. Living in Spain, the USA, and Scotland to name a few, following as an adult with Africa, Malta and good old OZ, she got to see first hand the importance of not only cultural preservation but retaining the right to grow your own food with your own seeds
