In August 07, inspired by the wealth of unknown talent in flickr, I refound my love of taking photographs. Over the following few months, in a flurry of digital discovery, I was powerless to resist firing off thousand of shots. Most were landscapes, taken in the countryside to the North of Glasgow, a few were urban scenes and a few were simple environmental observations.

Out of all these shots, a couple of hundred found their way onto flickr, to be viewed, criticised, favourited, explored and (fortunately just once or twice) slated by a global army of like -minded photographiles. It was and is an immensely inspirational and encouraging process and I learned more about photography in those few months than in all the years since I first picked up a camera.
