The Fashion Cities Africa exhibition at Brighton Museum in 2016, provides a snapshot of the diverse fashion landscapes of four African cities. To complement the exhibition this lookbook documents African fashion practices in Brighton & Hove. Brighton Museum & Art Gallery hosted two fashion shoots and invited anyone with a passion for African fashion to come along and take part. The first shoot took place at the museum, the second shoot at locations around the city.

This lookbook features photographs of everyone who took part in the fashion shoots. These images provide local perspectives on themes explored in the Fashion Cities Africa exhibition, and celebrate diverse style identities influenced by African fashions.
