Peggy lives in Seattle, WA with her husband, two teenagers, two 110-pound Bernese Mountain Dogs and a cat that rules the world. When not traveling, she can be found writing--and dreaming of traveling--above the Chewuch River on the east, sunny, side of the Cascade Mountains. As I write in my book, east Africa has become a part of me--and a part of our family--it is ground into our skin, is under our fingernails; is hardwired into our language and our collective consciousness. This book is a testament to the impact east Africa has had on our family and on me, personally.
