This book is a catalogue of images by Rocco Ceo that include botanical drawings, architecture, furniture and fine art drawing from an exhibit held at the ‘Meetinghouse’ in late 2015. Written descriptions accompany images to describe the date the works were made, and their media and size. Longer written descriptions accompany key objects in the exhibition such as the long drawing: ‘Jungle Floor’, the ‘Natural Acts’ silverpoint installation, and the ‘Naturalist Table.’ The book is the work of an architectural naturalist interested in documenting and commenting on our contentious yet symbiotic relationship with the natural world through the disciplines of architecture, fine art, and object design.
