This book is a documentation of a two-month span shown through journal entries, sketchbooks and iPhone photos. The creation of this book was inspired by my fascination with the skewed documentation of our lives in today’s world. I see peers, strangers, and friends taking pictures all around me and wonder how often they actually go back and look at them; I wonder how much they are actually valued as documented photographs. Due to this curiosity, I decided to see what I wrote and did each day for three months and then paired it up with a photo I took on that day. Although some pages may seem random, the images, doodles and abstract paintings that appear on the pages were thoughtfully picked to compliment the events of that day and reflect the date they were taken.
