Griffin’s orders to “push on” were heard repeatedly over the regiment’s wireless network throughout the course of the battle. This book chronicles the Regiment’s history in extensive detail from 1936, when it was a permanent force cavalry regiment, to 1946 when it came back from the war as the senior armoured regiment of the 5th Canadian Armoured Division.
