John and Doug McLean have operated McLeans Auto Wrecking in Rockwood, Ontario since 1959. During the past five and one-half decades they have collected acres of wrecked cars, trucks, and buses.

With over 132 colour pictures, this book of photographs documents more than seventy-five of these cars, trucks, and buses in the yard. The vintage of the vehicles range from the mid 1930's to 1990.

Realistic High Dynamic Range photography has been used to bring out the full tonal range in each photograph. Images of almost forgotten models like the Ford Edsel, Buick Roadmaster, and AMC Rambler are sure to generate nostalgia.

In addition, the book also includes a chapter on macro (close-up) pictures of the vehicles' oxidized metal surfaces revealing a wealth of colours and textures, and a chapter featuring photographs of art work and signage on truck doors.
