'Surfaces' is a results of a smooth traffic between the virtual and the tactile. Mandira used her own artwork with acrylic, stamps, collages, wood boards, canvases, and photographs. She ran these through multiple image-processing software to make the final product.

Mandira Bhaduri is a lecturer of Bangla at the University of Chicago. Besides teaching language, her passions are painting and writing. She has exhibited her artwork in Chicago and Dhaka, Bangladesh. She loves to work with mixed media. This is her first group of art that mixes paper, canvas, and digital platforms. She is from Kolkata, India and lives in Chicago.
