Emily Gray Koehler is a Minnesota-based printmaker and artist who was born and raised in Northern Lower Michigan. Her color-reduction woodcuts explore the environment and ecology of the places she calls home: north woods and great plains, farm and city, Michigan and Minnesota. Agraria explores the stories behind Koehler’s print series of the same name where she delves into the complex relationships with the animals we use, employ and consume to further our own survival.
