Farming A Legacy is about a few of the last remaining black farmers in Calvert County, Maryland who have survived for generations against incredible odds, acquired and accumulated land, and have found ways to continue a family farming legacy born on the backs of their slave ancestors. These endangered farmers display courage, strength, ingenuity, pride and dignity in their determination to pass along a family farming heritage to another generation.
