I believe in the barking dog is a collection of poems, small stories, some song lyrics and a dabbling of digital art. It includes the title poem, which was performed at a Tamarack Institute gathering a couple years back and was an audience favorite. Inside there are pieces about love and its many facets, including a section inspired by my children. There is also some hard-hitting writing here - some might say existential stuff -- and some poems, stories, and songs in the book were motivated by Mark's many years working in the inner city.
