The American Leadership Forum chapters across the United States participate in a Wilderness Adventure as part of their year-long curriculum. Class XII of the Mountain Valley Chapter (Sacramento, CA) documented our Wilderness Adventure to Gold Lake and the Sierra Buttes of Northern CA in a series of reflections and photographs in a book entitled "Starfish in the Sierra." The book was published by the class and presented to our facilitators and outgoing Executive Director Doni Blumenstock at our Commencement Dinner on April 3, 2009.
