The artist studied at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MassArt, and the Central Academy of Art, Beijing after receiving his BA from Syracuse University. He also studied independently in Tibet and China as well in the Middle East. His work has been shown in many exhibits nationally and internationally and is part of numerous private, corporate and institutional collections, including The University of Michigan, Fidelity Investments, The Millennium Hotel, Boston, and The Mass General Hospital. The artist spent several months in the Middle East working with Israeli and Palestinian artists, and in China and Tibet, demonstrating an open system of language which transcends nation identity.
