A collection of over fifty poems written by Brenda Clare and illustrated with photographs of original oil paintings and illustrations by Brenda. The poems cover a wide variety of subjects, from serious to amusing, including ones about childhood, seasons, feline friends, insects, nature, war and famine, friends and her own experiences in life. The collection also includes a short humorous sketch entitled "Christmas Toy Tales" featuring a number of toys relating their own experiences of Christmas day, which has been performed live on stage on a number of occasions over the years.
