Plein Air: a French expression meaning "in the open air." Particularly used to describe the act of creating art outdoors.

The Delaware River flows miles from the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York through New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. Over the past eight years, nationally recognized artists Jessie Krause has been inspired to capture the ever changing mood of the river we call home: a 14-mile stretch from Frenchtown, NJ to Lambertville/New Hope.
