I am a amateur photographer who is still learning. However I take photographs as I enjoy doing so and if others enjoy looking at them, that's a bonus!! I was give two bits of advice many years ago by a professional photographer which I think still hold true and I try to follow: 1. A good photo is in the eye, not the camera. 2. You should try and be as technically perfect as you can, but if a photo isn't but you still like it, then its still a good one.
