"Kiosks and Pay Boxes" is a selection of ten images from my creative research, an exploration of the built environment, the vernacular landscape, primarily in Texas and Mexico.



In Kerouac’s On the Road, Dean Moriarty was a master at parking and organizing cars on a New York City parking lot. Today most city lots are self-park, payment is often by credit card, and there is no one to look after your car and earn tips.
