Ms. Robin Apple is an iPhone photographer who favors highly colored images that incorporate angles, blends, blur, and motion to combine elements of abstraction and reality in a unique, expressive way. The images she’s included in her first book Equine, and her second book, Urban Smiles and Other Expressions, were captured with determination, humor, and love. In addition to the two books, her work from various series ("California Car Culture", "Equine", "Life Abstracted", and "Oaxacan Images") has been been shown in a number of galleries around California including but not limited to: Berkeley, Gualala, Pacific Grove, Palo Alto, Redwood City, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Cruz; and also in her home state of Minnesota, in New York, and in Oregon.
